Fear

Fear
Opposite of trust . . . security . . .

Within perfect love
There need be no fear

Fear comes from not understanding
Love is always there

From not believing
Love is always there

If I can't see it
Can't feel it
How can I know it?

. . . Love

Fear
Opposite of hope . . . possibility . . .
Fear withdraws and protects self
Does not reach out to grasp
Beauty . . . strength . . . goodness

Fear hides
Fear hides within itself
Goodness and light
Are not seen . . . not felt

Trust
Steps out
Risks the darkness
Pushes through heavy wet veils
To seek out the light

Hope
Remembers
Hope
Remembers what has been
Remembers dreams dreamed
Love encountered
Security felt

Hope is a pilot light
That glows inside me
Waiting to ignite
The larger flame

My deceived soul
Believes itself barren and cold
But, the pilot light waits patiently
To restore the greater glow
The warmth of love that is true
Hope that is real

Safe walls encircle
Like warm arms of comfort

I remember
There is always choice
There is always hope

Fear is a lie
It's roots in the past
As it looks to the future

False
Expectations
Appearing
Real

Within perfect love
There need be no fear
Believe in love
Believe in Love
